Flowers in the Park

The Flowers in the Park
by Tony Powell

Young and old, child and youth, men and women, gay and straight, high and low, rich and poor, saint and sinner, bemused, confused, sobbing, bereaved, divorced, curious, passing by, silent secret, homeless, loveless, lawless, they all came to put flowers in the park.

Our production of The Flowers in the Park at the Edinburgh Fringe 1998 received a great deal of media attention. These are genuine quotes from the newspapers:

'pure sensationalism' - The Sunday Times
'controversial' - The Daily Record
'we're not sure whether to cry or throw up' - The Guardian
'watchable' - The Scotsman
